I just finished listening to it. For the most part, I liked it. Some songs didn’t turn out like I imagined them to when I first heard about the album and collaborators.

For example, the song I wanted to hear the most was the track with the Hives. I’m a huge fan of the Hives and Timbaland, but the song they do together muddies the personalities of both entities. It doesn’t sound really have the Hives’ energy or Timbaland’s flow. It’s less than the sum of it’s parts because the artists’ styles don’t blend smoothly. On the other hand, the track with She Wants Revenge just works. Timbo and S.W.R. both have a bouncy flow, so they magnify each other.

Other songs are tried and true. We already know that Tim can do R&B, Pop and Rap, so the songs with J. Timberlake, Furtado and Missy are going to sound pretty much like you expect them to sound. (As a matter of fact, Way I Are pretty much sounds like SexyBack part II, it uses the same instrument sets and samples.) To be real, Timbaland doesn’t really step too far out of his box on most of the tracks, but then again… Timbaland’s box is already just outside of the norm.

It’s a solid album, I’d give it an 7/10. It’s above average, but just above. Thanks for posting this AJ.

(BTW, I’ve never heard the word ‘Bounce‘ repeated so many times as I have in the last hour.)

One thing I just noticed as I hit the submit button is that I’d rated the album purely on production value. Lyrically speaking, Timbaland is a pretty so-so rapper. I mean, he can rap… just not well.

I approach Tim with the same mindset as I approach Will I. Am and P.Diddy… he’s an amazing producer, now will someone just take his microphone?

To me, it’s as good as a concept/compilation that there is out, that’s why i rated it high, you have to take it for what it is and grade accordingly, you knew there were going to be dope beats, the question just was with everything else that filled in the gaps. I think Keri Hilton is good singer, although she sounds like she should perform at rave parties, the other features were well done and I would like to be the first to welcome Magoo back from the dead. Also, how come no one addressed the fact that Justin Timberlake went from being a Neptunes protege to being Timbo’s? This is like that episode of Family uy when Peter dropped Brian for James Woods.

i thought most of it was really hot. Timbaland is a freaking genius if you ask me!
