I’ve been reading Tariq Nasheed’s, The Art of Mackin’, an excellent book by the way. As I was reading, I ran across “20 General rules of mackin“, a list composed by Tariq that entails the skills that all men must uphold in order to maintain “mackin’ status”. I know some simps may no be comfortable with that language, so let’s pretend the list is called, “20 dating tips for men“, there you go, feel better? Anyway, some good stuff, check it out.

Many black brothers and sisters have heard the quote in the title of this article countless times. It seems as if their is a shortage of “good” guys for the sisters in the black community. Conversely, the brothers sometimes wonder where all the “good” women are as well. Is it really possible that both parties are asking valid questions? Is there really a shortage of “good” black men and women for dating purposes? And how come the good ones can’t find each other? I know sometimes it seems like we’re picking on the ladies here on brilliantbrown, but we do have advice for the men, too. This is one of those articles.
