Up until now, it’s only been speculation but US Senator Barak Obama is now official Presidential Candidate Senator Barak Obama. On Senator Obama’s web site, he announced he’s officially thrown his hat in the ring. If he can somehow get elected, we would potentially have the most intellectual President and First Lady in the White House in a very long time.

Dr. King, cold chillin’
Well, it’s Martin Luther King, Jr Day and I’m stuck at work. But let us not just have Dr. King’s birthday be a day that “us black folk” think we’re supposed to have off of work. Take today (wherever you happen to be) and reflect on the message King lived and professed. We haven’t reached Dr. King’s dream yet and the journey before us is long, but we must not lose sight of the mark.
